|Job Title||Financial Analyst|
Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control, by performing the following duties.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyzes complex financial transactions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.
- Assist in the month-end closing and distribution of monthly financial statements.
- Perform detailed financial statement analyses, including discussions on various issues.
- Provides interpretation of financial policies, governmental legislation, or accounting theory.
- Analyzes financial information to determine present and future financial performance.
- Evaluates complex profit plans, operating records, and financial statements.
- Interprets and applies corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory.
- Assist departments to analyze monthly revenue and expenses by comparing actual to budget and assists in explaining variances. Maintains records of such variances and/or changes made to financial statements.
- Assists organization's CEO in the development of the budget, planning, and other corporate financial requirements.
- Assist with EMS and AIR1 billing.
- Gather and maintain information for the annual procedures performed by an independent auditor.
- Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in accounting or related field from four-year college or university; and one to three years related experience in financial accounting.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from directors and other employees.
Ability to work with accounting concepts and theory. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word; Excel, AS 400 and Quick Books.
